Alison's Himalayan Handcrafted Journey
On February 28, Alison Taylor stepped into Nepal for the first time—looking for a soul-stirring adventure and found more than that. Amid the Himalayan serenity, she discovered the bustling alleys of Kathmandu brimming with authentic handmade crafts, warm-hearted artisans, and colorful clothes stitched with stories.
With a modest investment of $2,500 USD, Alison filled her travel packs with Nepalese clothing, Pashmina, felt decorations, and sacred Tibetan bowls. She showcased them in New York's Spring Art Exhibition and later in a Canadian cultural expo. The result? A complete sell-out and an extra $5,000 in profit!

But her success didn't come alone. She met Sharma Meera Shivlal Dangal, a vibrant woman managing Nepal Art Shop since 2017. Meera, experienced in export logistics, helped Alison choose the right inventory, pack and ship it across continents.
